Gujarat Gas has announced the appointment of Avantika Singh Aulakh, IAS (DIN: 07549438), as Additional Director & Managing Director, effective December 24, 2025. The appointment follows the Government of Gujarat Notification No. AIS/35.2025/56/G dated December 23, 2025. It has been confirmed that Smt. Avantika Singh Aulakh, IAS, is not debarred from holding the office of director by virtue of any SEBI order. She is a Promoter-Nominee.
About Avantika Singh Aulakh
Smt. Avantika Singh Aulakh, IAS, is a senior officer of the 2003 batch. Before this appointment, she served as Additional Principal Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat. Her educational background includes a B.E. in Instrumentation & Control Engg. from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology Delhi and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Civil Service Career
Throughout her career, she has held various positions in the Government of Gujarat, including serving as District Collector in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bharuch, and Anand. She received the Best District Collector award for Vadodara district (2015-16) and Bharuch district (2012-13). Other roles include District Development Officer in Anand and Gandhinagar districts and Deputy Secretary, Energy and Petrochemicals Dept. and Director of Petroleum in the State Government.
Awards and Recognition
She was awarded the National Award for Best Electoral Practices in 2012 and 2017 and the National Level Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme award in 2018.

Smt. Aulakh‘s experience includes serving as Vice Chairman & CEO of Gujarat Maritime Board, CEO of Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board, MD of Gujarat Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited and Director of Technical Education. She has also held directorial positions on the boards of companies, including Gujarat Pipavav Port Limited, GSPC LNG Limited and Dholera International Airport Company Limited. She is currently the Managing Director of Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited.
