The Great Eastern Shipping Takes Delivery of Kamsarmax Dry Bulk Carrier “Jag Anjali”

The Great Eastern Shipping Company has taken delivery of the 2016-built Kamsarmax Dry Bulk Carrier “Jag Anjali”, which has a capacity of about 81,922 dwt. The company had previously agreed to purchase this vessel in Q2 FY26. This acquisition has been entirely financed through internal accruals.

“Jag Anjali” Joins the Fleet

The Great Eastern Shipping (G E Shipping) has announced the delivery of the Kamsarmax Dry Bulk Carrier, named “Jag Anjali”. This vessel was built in 2016 and has a capacity of approximately 81,922 dwt. The purchase agreement for the vessel was finalized during Q2 FY26, with the acquisition being funded through internal resources.

Fleet Composition Update

Following this delivery, Great Eastern Shipping’s current fleet consists of 40 vessels. This includes 26 tankers (comprising 5 crude carriers, 17 product tankers, and 4 LPG carriers) and 14 dry bulk carriers, with a total capacity aggregating to 3.21 mn dwt.

Additional Transactions

In addition to this delivery, during Q2 FY26, the company also entered into agreements to buy one secondhand Suezmax crude tanker and to sell another secondhand Suezmax crude tanker. These transactions for purchase and sale are expected to be completed by Q3 FY26.
