Production Milestone Analysis
Godawari Power and Ispat Limited (GPIL) has reported an exceptional performance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. The company successfully surpassed previous production records across multiple segments, reflecting robust demand and increased operational efficiency at its facilities.
Performance Highlights (in Lakh Metric Tons)
The company registered growth across most of its primary product lines compared to the previous financial year:
- Iron Ore Mining: Increased to 27.49 Lakh Metric Tons from 23.42 Lakh Metric Tons.
- Iron Ore Pellets: Output rose to 28.56 Lakh Metric Tons, up from 24.49 Lakh Metric Tons.
- Sponge Iron (DRI): Production grew to 6.50 Lakh Metric Tons compared to 5.94 Lakh Metric Tons in FY25.
- Wire Rods: Production climbed to 2.31 Lakh Metric Tons.
- HB Wires: Remained steady at 1.01 Lakh Metric Tons.
- Steel Billets: Recorded at 4.77 Lakh Metric Tons.
In addition to mineral and steel production, the company also reported an increase in energy output, with power generation reaching 86.58 Crore KWH, compared to 83.45 Crore KWH in the previous fiscal year.
