Global Health CRISIL Revises Credit Rating to AA-/Positive

Global Health Limited (Medanta) has received a revised credit rating from CRISIL Ratings. The long-term rating is now CRISIL AA-/Positive, and the short-term rating is CRISIL A1+. The revision applies to the company’s total bank loan facilities, which are rated at Rs. 1500 Crore. This rating reflects CRISIL’s assessment of Global Health’s creditworthiness and ability to meet its financial obligations.

Revised Credit Ratings

CRISIL Ratings has revised the credit ratings for Global Health Limited’s (Medanta) bank facilities. The total bank loan facilities rated amount to Rs. 1500 Crore.

Long-Term and Short-Term Ratings

The long-term rating has been revised to CRISIL AA-/Positive. The short-term rating has been affirmed at CRISIL A1+. These ratings indicate CRISIL’s view on the company’s ability to repay its debt obligations.

Bank Facility Details

The Rs. 1500 Crore facilities include a mix of term loans and working capital facilities from several banks:

  • State Bank of India: Term Loan – Rs. 400 Crore, Working Capital – Rs. 50 Crore
  • ICICI Bank Limited: Term Loan – Rs. 100 Crore, Working Capital – Rs. 50 Crore
  • HDFC Bank Limited: Working Capital – Rs. 150 Crore
  • YES Bank Limited: Working Capital – Rs. 140 Crore

Proposed Term Loan

Includes Rs. 610 Crore in proposed term loans. The facilities also include a sublimit of Rs 150 crore for capex Letter of Credit and Rs 20 crore of bank guarantee.
