Leadership Transition at Eternal
Deepinder Goyal has resigned from his position as Director, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of Eternal Limited, effective from the close of business hours on February 1, 2026. Goyal had been with the company for eighteen years. He will remain on the board as Vice Chairman.
Albinder Dhindsa Appointed as New Group CEO
Albinder Dhindsa, previously leading Blinkit, will assume the role of Group CEO. This change, subject to shareholder approval, marks a significant shift in leadership responsibilities.
Goyal’s Future Role
As Vice Chairman, Goyal will focus on exploring new ideas and long-term strategic initiatives. He expressed a desire to pursue new ventures outside the scope of Eternal’s current operations.
Dhindsa’s Focus
Dhindsa will take over the day-to-day execution, operating priorities, and business decisions as Group CEO. Blinkit, under Dhindsa’s leadership, achieved breakeven, and he will continue to prioritize its growth.
No Change in Long-Term Vision
The company emphasizes that its long-term strategy, culture, leadership development, and ethical governance remain unchanged. Goyal’s financial future and incentives are still aligned with Eternal’s long-term shareholder value creation. His unvested ESOPs will revert to the ESOP pool.
