Escorts Kubota Limited Strong Performance in Tractor and Construction Sales for March 2026

Escorts Kubota Limited reported a robust performance in March 2026, with tractor sales volume rising by 6.6% to reach 12,119 units compared to 11,374 units in the previous year. Additionally, the construction equipment division recorded a significant growth of 24.6%, selling 765 machines. This growth was driven by sustained rural demand for tractors and strong infrastructure project execution, despite minor supply chain challenges and fluctuations in the agricultural landscape.

Tractor Sales Performance

The company’s Agri Machinery Business witnessed a positive trend in March 2026. Domestic tractor sales reached 11,582 units, reflecting a 7.5% growth year-on-year. While exports moderated to 537 units, the overall annual trajectory remains strong, with total sales for the April 2025 – March 2026 period reaching 1,33,670 units, a 15.7% increase over the previous fiscal year.

Agri-Market Outlook

Management noted that the industry’s steady performance is supported by sustained rural demand and the Rabi harvest. Although recent rainfall caused a slight delay in harvesting, the long-term outlook is optimistic, bolstered by healthy reservoir levels. However, the company remains watchful of geopolitical factors that could impact the availability of Kharif crop inputs, such as fertilizers.

Construction Equipment Growth

The Construction Equipment Business Division also demonstrated strong momentum, delivering a 24.6% growth with 765 units sold in March. This success is attributed to a strengthening order pipeline and consistent project execution in the domestic infrastructure sector. Despite potential supply-side uncertainties, the division maintains a positive outlook, banking on continued investment and project intensity to drive future volume growth.
