Total sales volume for the month reached 9,986 units, marking a 23.4% growth over the previous year’s corresponding month. This strong performance was driven by both domestic and export segments, with the overall year-to-date figures also showing substantial double-digit growth.
VECV Sales Performance: February 2026
Eicher Motors Limited today released the sales figures for its subsidiary, VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV), for the month ending February 2026. Total consolidated sales for the month stood at 9,986 units, representing a significant growth of 23.4% compared to the 8,092 units sold in February 2025. The Year-to-Date (YTD) figures, covering the current financial year through February 2026, show total sales reaching 90,184 units, an increase of 15.5%.
Domestic Commercial Vehicles Performance
The domestic sales segment for Eicher Trucks and Buses (including EVs) demonstrated robust growth, achieving 9,766 units sold in February 2026, up 23.5% from 7,909 units the previous year. The breakdown shows strong performance in the sub-18.5T category:
- SCV/ LMD Trucks (< 18.5T): Sales grew 41.3% to 4,947 units.
- HD Trucks (≥18.5T): Sales increased by 54.1% to 2,588 units.
- LMD Bus: Sales declined by 21.4% to 1,537 units.
- HD Bus: Sales saw a sharp drop of 58.3% to just 93 units.
Total Domestic sales concluded the month at 9,165 units, achieving 24.6% growth. YTD domestic sales have reached 71,341 units, growing by 35.6%.
VECV Exports Surge
The Exports segment showed particularly high growth rates in February 2026, despite lower absolute volumes:
- SCV/ LMD Exports: Grew substantially by 25.5% to 374 units.
- HD Exports: Surged by 207.1% to 43 units.
- Bus Exports: Experienced a decline of 23.3%, recording 184 units.
Overall Exports for the month totaled 601 units, marking an 8.9% increase. YTD Exports have climbed 46.5% to 18,817 units.
Total Segment Comparison
The combined Total Exports and Total Domestic sales contribute to the final consolidated performance. Total Volvo Trucks & Buses sales were 220 units, reflecting 201.4% growth for the month. The overall performance confirms sustained positive momentum for VECV entering the final quarter of the financial year, with both monthly and YTD figures showing healthy upward trends.
