Eicher Motors Limited Q3 FY26 Results Show Record Performance and Capacity Expansion Plan

Eicher Motors Limited (EML) announced its best-ever third quarter performance for Q3 FY 2025-26, with consolidated Revenue from operations growing 23% to ₹6,114 crores. EBITDA rose 30% to a record ₹1,557 crores. Royal Enfield sales jumped 21%. The Board also approved a major investment of ₹958 crores to expand Royal Enfield’s Cheyyar manufacturing capacity up to 20 lakh units.

Record Financial Performance for Q3 FY26

Eicher Motors Limited (EML) reported unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, marking its best third-quarter performance to date. Revenue from operations reached ₹6,114 crores, showing a robust year-on-year growth of 23% compared to the corresponding quarter in FY 2024-25.

Key financial highlights include:

  • EBITDA grew 30% to its highest-ever level at ₹1,557 crores.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT) increased by 21% to ₹1,421 crores, up from ₹1,171 crores last year.

Royal Enfield Segment Highlights

The Royal Enfield division demonstrated strong demand and execution. Quarterly motorcycle sales totaled 325,773 units, a 21% increase over the 269,039 units sold in Q3 FY 2024-25. Managing Director B. Govindarajan noted consistent momentum, successful product launches, and strong community engagement.

Brand milestones included kicking off celebrations for the 125-year milestone at EICMA 2025 with the unveiling of the Bullet 650 and Flying Flea S6, alongside the launch of the Himalayan Mana Black and Meteor 350 Sundowner.

VECV Segment Performance

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) also showed strong recovery, with sales of 26,086 vehicles, marking a 24% growth over the previous year. VECV’s Revenue from operations stood at ₹7,019 crores, increasing 21% year-on-year. EBITDA for VECV rose 26% to ₹652 crores.

Vinod Aggarwal, MD and CEO of VECV, cited a strong industry recovery following the monsoon and beneficial GST reforms. VECV sustained leadership in the LMD truck segment and expanded its portfolio with the launch of the diesel variant of the Eicher Pro X small truck and the LNG-powered Volvo Road Train.

Major Capacity Expansion Approved

EML’s Board formally approved a significant brownfield expansion for Royal Enfield at the Cheyyar manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. This strategic investment aims to boost annual production capacity from the current 14.6 lakh units up to 20 lakh units over the next two years.

The company plans to invest an estimated ₹958 crores in this project. B. Govindarajan emphasized that this investment will ensure faster ramp-up and cost-efficient operations to meet expanding future demand.
