Deepak Nitrite Stamp Duty Order Set Aside, Another Remanded

Deepak Nitrite has received favorable orders regarding stamp duty matters. An order from September 9, 2024, demanding ₹21,00,000 in stamp duty and ₹50,000 penalty has been set aside. Another order from September 9, 2024, seeking ₹86,10,000 in stamp duty and a ₹50,000 penalty, has been remanded back to the Dy. Collector for reassessment of documentary evidence. Favorable Outcome on Stamp Duty Appeals

Deepak Nitrite announced updates regarding appeals filed against orders from the Deputy Collector, Stamp Duty Valuation Department, Section-2, Vadodara. The Chief Controlling Revenue Authority, Gandhinagar, passed two orders on December 31, 2025, received on January 7, 2026.

Remand for Reassessment

Regarding the order also dated September 9, 2024, concerning the recovery of stamp duty amounting to ₹86,10,000 and a penalty of ₹50,000, the matter has been remanded back to the Deputy Collector for a reassessment of documentary evidence.
