On February 24, 2026, Cyient Foundation hosted the finale of its annual Pitch Fest 2026 in Hyderabad, executed in partnership with ICT Academy. The event brought together promising student entrepreneurs from engineering institutions across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to present innovative and socially relevant business concepts.
Program Scale and Focus
The Pitch Fest represented the culmination of a structured entrepreneurship development initiative. The program saw enthusiastic participation, with over 2,000 students from 40 colleges across both states taking part. Through a multi-stage evaluation, 105 entrepreneurial ideas were refined after presentation to industry mentors.
The ideas covered diverse sectors, including art promotion, agricultural mechanization, solar energy efficiency, and technology applications for continuous education. Participants benefited from awareness sessions, intensive training, and personalized mentoring over several months to transform their concepts into viable ventures.
Winners and Recognition
Following live pitching before an eminent jury, five outstanding ideas were selected as winners. Each winning team received a cash award recognizing their entrepreneurial spirit.
The winning students hailed from MLR Institute of Technology, CMR Institute of Technology, ACE Engineering College, and two teams from KG Reddy College of Engineering.
