Coromandel International announced strong Q2 FY26 results, with a 27% increase in total income to Rs. 9,513 Cr. EBITDA grew by 17% to Rs. 1,147 Cr, and PAT also increased by 17% to Rs. 816 Cr. The company continues to strengthen its market leadership across nutrients and crop protection businesses, expanding its retail presence and product portfolio.
Q2 FY26 Standalone Performance
Coromandel International reported significant growth in its standalone results for Q2 FY26:
- Total Income: Rs. 9,513 Cr, a 27% increase compared to Rs. 7,509 Cr in the previous year.
- EBITDA: Rs. 1,147 Cr, a 17% increase from Rs. 983 Cr in Q2 of the previous year.
- PAT: Rs. 816 Cr, a 17% increase from Rs. 696 Cr in Q2 of the previous year.
H1 FY26 Standalone Performance
The company also demonstrated strong performance in the first half of FY26:
- Total Income: Rs. 16,596 Cr, a 35% increase compared to Rs. 12,277 Cr in the previous year.
- EBITDA: Rs. 1,885 Cr, a 26% increase from Rs. 1,490 Cr in the first half of the previous year.
- PAT: Rs. 1,325 Cr, a 29% increase from Rs. 1,027 Cr in the first half of the previous year.
Consolidated Results
For the quarter ended September 2025, Coromandel’s consolidated total income was Rs. 9,771 Cr, compared to Rs. 7,498 Cr for the same quarter in the previous year. The profit after tax for the quarter was Rs. 793 Cr, against Rs. 659 Cr for the quarter ended September 2024.
The consolidated total income for the first half was Rs. 16,897 Cr versus Rs. 12,281 Cr in the corresponding period of the previous year. The profit after tax for the first half was Rs. 1,295 Cr as against Rs. 968 Cr in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Business Highlights and Expansion
The company’s fertiliser plants operated at full capacity, leading to a sales volume increase of 17% in H1. Coromandel is consolidating its position as a market leader in phosphatics. The Crop Protection business showed resilience, driven by technical sales growth and domestic formulation. Additionally, the Retail business expanded, adding around 100 new stores in Q2, exceeding 1,000 stores in total. Plans are underway to set up a water-soluble MAP fertiliser facility.
Nutrient and Allied Business Performance
Standalone revenue for the quarter ended September 2025 was Rs. 8,658 Cr (Rs. 6,746 Cr previous year). Profit before interest and tax for the quarter was Rs. 999 Cr versus Rs. 861 Cr in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Standalone revenue for the first half was Rs. 14,969 Cr (Rs. 10,944 Cr previous year). Profit before interest and tax for the first half was Rs. 1,635 Cr versus Rs. 1,297 Cr in the corresponding period.
Strategic Initiatives
Brownfield expansion projects for sulphuric and phosphoric acid plants at Kakinada are progressing and expected to be commissioned in Q4 FY26. Strategic supply contracts were signed to secure raw materials and finished products. Coromandel completed the acquisition of NACL Industries during the quarter.
Crop Protection and Bio Business
Revenue for the quarter ended September 2025 was Rs. 829 Cr, compared to Rs. 755 Cr for the same quarter last year. Profit before interest and tax for the quarter was Rs. 162 Cr versus Rs. 110 Cr in the corresponding period. Revenue for the first half was Rs. 1,553 Cr (Rs. 1,306 Cr previous year). Profit before interest and tax for the first half was Rs. 272 Cr (Rs. 173 Cr previous year).
