Container Corporation Signs MOU with JNPA for Vadhvan Port

The MOU outlines a plan for CONCOR and JNPA to jointly develop and manage Common Rail Handling Operations for all upcoming container terminals at Vadhvan Port. CONCOR will serve as the Common Rail Handling Operator, offering consultancy and operational support in rail coordination, infrastructure planning, and container handling within the common rail yard.

Investment and Timeline

The project is set to involve an estimated investment of approximately ₹500 Crores. Implementation will occur in phases, with the proposed commencement year set for 2030. This initiative aims to create an efficient logistics ecosystem and reinforces the commitment of both JNPA and CONCOR to boost India’s port-led growth and infrastructure development.
