- His current charge at the Ministry of Railways involves overseeing the entire parcel business and policy related to the development of freight terminals and private investment in wagons.
- Previously, he served as Divisional Railway Manager for the Khurda Division of East Coast Railway, noted as the highest freight handling Division of IR.
- He has handled critical national logistics, including policies related to the procurement and transportation of foodgrains.
- As Executive Director (Coal), he managed the movement of coal for power supply, closely coordinating with the Ministries of Power, Coal, and Shipping.
