December 2025 Production Highlights
Coal India Limited (CIL) reported a total coal production of 75.7 million tonnes (MT) for the month of December 2025. This represents a 4.6% increase compared to the 72.4 MT produced in December of 2024.
December 2025 Offtake Highlights
The total coal offtake for December 2025 was 64.9 MT. This is a 5.2% decrease from the 68.5 MT offtake in December 2024.
April-December 2025 Cumulative Production
For the period spanning from April 2025 to December 2025, CIL’s cumulative coal production reached 529.2 MT, slightly lower than the 543.4 MT produced during the same period last year, representing a 2.6% decrease.
April-December 2025 Cumulative Offtake
The cumulative coal offtake from April to December 2025 totaled 544.7 MT, which is 2.2% less than the 557.0 MT offtake recorded during the corresponding period in 2024.

Offtake:
ECL offtake was 3.9 MT (-10.1%), BCCL offtake was 2.7 MT (-20.9%), CCL offtake was 7.6 MT (+13.5%), NCL offtake was 11.0 MT (-11.0%), WCL offtake was 5.4 MT (-13.5%), SECL offtake was 16.4 MT (+4.3%), and MCL offtake was 17.9 MT (-8.9%) for December 2025.
