CIE Automotive India has completed its investment in AMP Energy C&I Thirty Two Private Limited, allotting 13,12,500 equity shares towards the Second and Final Tranche investment. The aggregate consideration for this tranche is Rs. 1,31,25,000. With this, the proposed investment pursuant to the Share Subscription and Shareholders Agreement (SSSHA) is completed, increasing CIE Automotive’s stake to 29% on a fully diluted basis.
Final Tranche Investment
CIE Automotive India has finalized its investment with AMP Energy C&I Thirty Two Private Limited (“AMP Energy”) by subscribing to 13,12,500 equity shares. These shares, with a face value of Rs. 10 each, are part of the Second and Final Tranche investment.
Investment Details
The total consideration for the Second and Final Tranche amounts to Rs. 1,31,25,000 (Rupees One Crore Thirty-One Lakhs Twenty-Five Thousand). AMP Energy allotted the specified equity shares to CIE Automotive on January 14, 2026.
Purpose of Investment
AMP Energy is setting up a captive generating plant with a Gross Capacity of around 7.5 MWp (5 MWac) to supply captive solar power. CIE Automotive’s investment will qualify the company as a captive consumer, allowing it to optimize power costs at its Chakan, Pune facility.
Shareholding Update
Following this investment, CIE Automotive now holds 40% of the paid-up equity capital of AMP Energy, equivalent to 29% equity on a fully diluted basis.
