This win strengthens GGT’s position as a key partner in delivering safety-centric signaling solutions for the Indian Railways, with project completion expected within one year.
Significant KAVACH Order Secured
G.G. Tronics India Private Limited (GGT), a subsidiary of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, announced it has been awarded a significant order from Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, West Bengal, Government of India. The order, valued at ₹433.34 crore (inclusive of taxes), is for the supply and deployment of KAVACH, India’s indigenous Train Collision Avoidance System.
Project Details and Impact
The order execution is expected to be completed within one year. This win reinforces GGT’s position as a trusted partner to Indian Railways. The scope includes Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of on-board KAVACH locomotive equipment, along with an annual maintenance contract (AMC) for 11 years, applicable from the fifth year onwards, priced at 3% per annum.

KAVACH 4.0 Progress
GGT is in advanced stages of securing the final RDSO clearance for KAVACH 4.0, having completed all mandatory safety tests. The final Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) is scheduled to commence in February 2026.
