Carborundum Universal Interim Dividend Declared, Reports Q3 FY26 Results

Carborundum Universal Limited (CUMI) announced an interim dividend of Rs. 1.50 per share. The company reported standalone sales of Rs. 769 Cr and a profit after tax of Rs. 85 Cr for Q3 FY26. Consolidated sales stood at Rs. 1273 Cr with a profit after tax of Rs. 76 Cr. The Board of Directors approved these results at their meeting on January 29, 2026.

Financial Performance

For Q3 FY26, CUMI’s standalone sales reached Rs. 769 Cr, a 5.6% increase year-over-year. Standalone profit after tax was reported at Rs. 85 Cr. During the same quarter, consolidated sales were Rs. 1273 Cr, representing a 2.5% year-over-year increase, with consolidated profit after tax at Rs. 76 Cr.

For the first nine months of FY26, standalone sales reached Rs. 2179 Cr, representing year-over-year growth of 3.9%. Consolidated sales for the same period were Rs. 3766 Cr, reflecting a 3.6% increase compared to the previous year.

Segment Highlights

In Q3 FY26, standalone sales for Abrasives and Electrominerals segments grew by 9.8% and 8.9% respectively. The standalone Ceramics segment experienced a decline of 3.8%.

At the consolidated level, the Abrasives segment grew by 8.1% in Q3 FY26, while the Ceramics segment remained relatively stable and Electrominerals saw a decrease of 3.6%.

Interim Dividend

CUMI’s Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs. 1.50 per share (150% on face value of Re. 1) for its shareholders.
