Carborundum Universal Promoter Group Reclassification Approved

Carborundum Universal announces that stock exchanges have approved the reclassification of Coromandel Engineering Company Limited (CECL) and Yanmar Coromandel Agrisolutions Private Limited (YCAS) as outgoing members of the Promoter Group. Approvals were granted by both the BSE and NSE on November 14, 2025. The company had requested this change earlier in October 2025.

Promoter Group Restructuring

Carborundum Universal Limited has received approval from the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) to reclassify certain entities within its promoter group. This strategic move involves the formal recognition of Coromandel Engineering Company Limited (CECL) and Yanmar Coromandel Agrisolutions Private Limited (YCAS) as no longer part of the promoter group.

Details of Reclassification

The reclassification request, initially submitted in October 2025, has now been officially acknowledged by the exchanges. The approval letters from both the BSE (LIST/COMP/SJ/548/2025-26) and NSE (NSE/LIST/COMP/CARBORUNIV/527/2025-2026) are both dated November 14, 2025. This formalizes the change in status for CECL and YCAS within the company’s organizational structure.
