The company laid the foundation stone for its flagship World Trade Center (WTC) at Technopark Phase I and inaugurated Brigade Square, a 1.85 lakh sq. ft. IT building. Brigade Group Flags Off Major Kerala Expansion
On February 11, 2026, Brigade Group marked a significant milestone in its Kerala expansion strategy with key launches in Thiruvananthapuram. The company conducted the foundation stone-laying ceremony and Bhoomi puja for its flagship World Trade Center (WTC) located at Technopark Phase I, Kazhakkottam. This development is designed to be a global business hub intended to enhance the local IT ecosystem and attract international investment.
Details of the World Trade Center Project
The upcoming WTC will be an iconic structure, comprising 20 floors, plus ground level and four basements. Shri M.R. Jaishankar, Executive Chairman of Brigade Enterprises Limited, highlighted the belief in infrastructure transforming cities into economic hubs. He noted that the WTC will redefine the state’s industrial landscape. Furthermore, Brigade plans to expand its presence in Kochi by adding another tower to the existing WTC, which will aggregate to a total of one million sq. ft. of IT office space, including current operational towers.
Inauguration of Brigade Square
During the same event, the company also inaugurated Brigade Square. This is a substantial IT facility spanning 1.85 lakh sq. ft. and is situated near Technopark’s Park Centre. The inauguration ceremony was led by Shri Sandip Kumar IAS, CEO of Technopark.

Mr. Jaishankar emphasized that the commitment to Kerala is driven by the state’s exceptional talent pool and its role as a primary growth engine for South India. Shri Sandip Kumar IAS, CEO of Technopark, pointed out the city’s good connectivity and talent availability, noting that new IT policies are expected to offer incentives and potentially resolve land shortage issues in Infopark Kochi.
Leadership Presence at the Event
The foundation ceremony was attended by Shri Seeram Samabasiva Rao, IAS, Special Secretary, Department of Electronics & IT, Govt. of Kerala. Also present were former CEOs of Technopark, Shri Hrishikesh Nair (President of WTC) who detailed the IT infrastructure roadmap, and other key officials from Brigade Enterprises Limited and related organizations.
