Brigade Enterprises Limited Accelerates Kerala Expansion with Landmark WTC and Brigade Square Launch

Brigade Group has significantly boosted its presence in Kerala by launching two major projects in Thiruvananthapuram. The foundation stone was laid for the flagship World Trade Center (WTC), which will feature 20 floors plus amenities and an attached 237-room Marriott International hotel. Concurrently, the group inaugurated Brigade Square, a 1.85 lakh sq. ft. IT building near Technopark. Brigade also announced plans to build an additional one million sq. ft. tower at its existing WTC site in Infopark Kochi.

Flagship WTC Foundation Laid in Thiruvananthapuram

Brigade Group initiated a significant expansion in Kerala with the foundation stone-laying ceremony for its World Trade Center (WTC) at Technopark Phase I, Kazhakkottam, on 11 February 2026. The WTC is designed to be a global business hub, aiming to elevate the local IT ecosystem. The structure will comprise 20 floors, ground floor, and four basements, integrated with a high-end 237-room business hotel managed by Marriott International.

Inauguration of Brigade Square

During the event, the company also inaugurated Brigade Square, an existing IT building located near Technopark’s Park Centre, spanning 1.85 lakh sq. ft. The inauguration was presided over by Shri Sandip Kumar IAS, CEO of Technopark, alongside Shri M.R. Jaishankar, Executive Chairman of Brigade Enterprises Limited.

Commitment to Kochi Expansion

Reinforcing its commitment to the state, Brigade Group confirmed plans to further expand its footprint in Kochi. The company intends to construct a third tower at its existing WTC site in Infopark Kochi, adding approximately one million square feet of space. M R Jaishankar emphasized that these landmarks will create a sustainable ecosystem to attract global investment.

Positive Outlook for Kerala’s IT Sector

Shri Sandip Kumar IAS noted the state’s strong connectivity and talent pool. He expressed optimism that changes in policy, particularly regarding land availability in Infopark Kochi, will further incentivize IT industry growth. Plans detailed by Shri Hrishikesh Nair, President of WTC, include adding more Grade-A office space to the Kochi site to create a comprehensive environment for global companies.
