Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from HINDALCO Industries Limited for a 2 x 150 MW BTG Package. The project involves design, engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning for the Aditya Expansion Project Phase II in Odisha, India. The order is valued between INR 1200-1500 Crores excluding GST.

BHEL has secured a Letter of Intent (LOI) from HINDALCO Industries Limited for a significant power project.

  • Scope: Design, Engineering, Supply of equipment, Installation, Commissioning and Performance Acceptance Test (PAT)
  • Capacity: 2 x 150 MW BTG Package

Project Timeline

The commissioning of the BTG Package is expected within 35 Months for Unit 1 and 37 Months for Unit 2 from the effective date of the contract, which is the date of the Letter of Intent.

The estimated value of the order is approximately INR 1200-1500 Crores, excluding GST.
