Bharti Hexacom has appointed Kathikeyan Velu as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP), effective January 1, 2026. This decision follows the resignation of Akhil Garg, who is moving to a different role within the Bharti Group, effective December 31, 2025. The appointment was made based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Audit Committee.

Departure of Akhil Garg
The current CFO, Akhil Garg, has resigned from his position to take on a new role within the Bharti Group. His resignation will be effective from the close of working hours on December 31, 2025.
About Kathikeyan Velu
Kathikeyan Velu brings over two decades of experience in telecom finance. He previously served as B2C Controller, overseeing all circles commercial operations and partnering with leadership teams responsible for the Consumer Business. He currently serves as Group Financial Controller for Airtel. He joined Airtel as Management Trainee in 2002 and holds a Master’s in Business Administration (Finance) and a Bachelor’s in Engineering.
