Q2 FY26 Financial Highlights
Bharti Airtel reported a consolidated revenue of ₹52,145 crore for Q2 FY26, marking a significant increase of 25.7% YoY and 5.4% sequentially. This robust growth was broad-based, driven by strong performances in both Indian and African markets.
India Business Performance
The India business demonstrated strong results, with quarterly revenues reaching ₹38,690 crore, a 22.6% YoY increase and 2.9% QoQ. This growth was fueled by premiumization in the mobile sector, sustained momentum in the Homes segment, and improvements in Airtel Business performance. India Mobile revenue grew by 13.2% YoY, driven by ARPU improvement and customer acquisition.
Homes and Airtel Business Growth
The Homes business achieved a growth of 30.2% YoY. A record 951K net customer additions were recorded in Q2 FY26. Airtel Business reported a sequential revenue growth of 4.3%, indicating improvements across various segments.
Profitability Metrics
Consolidated EBITDA stood at ₹29,919 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 57.4%. India business EBITDA was reported at ₹23,204 crore, resulting in an EBITDA margin of 60.0%. Consolidated Net Income (before exceptional items) amounted to ₹6,792 crore, compared to ₹3,911 crore in Q2 FY25.
Operational Performance
The company’s operational performance was marked by an increase in smartphone data customers by 22.2 million YoY, accounting for 78% of the overall mobile customer base. Mobile ARPU increased to ₹256, up from ₹233 in Q2 FY25. Mobile data consumption rose by 26.6% YoY, with consumption reaching 28.3 GB per month per customer.
Customer Base Growth
Bharti Airtel’s overall customer base reached approximately 624 million across 15 countries. In India, the customer base stands at approximately 450 million, while Africa accounts for approximately 174 million customers.
Additional Highlights
Postpaid net additions amounted to 0.95 million in Q2 FY26. Airtel continues to expand its digital infrastructure, adding new towers and mobile broadband base stations to bolster its network.
