Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has announced a change in its Registrar & Share Transfer Agent (RTA). The company’s Board of Directors approved the switch from M/s Data Software Research Co. Pvt. Ltd. (“DSRC”) to M/s KFin Technologies Limited (“KFin Tech”) at a meeting held on September 26, 2025. DSRC will continue services until data transition is complete.
Change in RTA
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has appointed M/s KFin Technologies Limited (“KFin Tech”) as the new Registrar & Share Transfer Agent (RTA). This decision was made by the Board of Directors during a meeting on September 26, 2025.
Reason for the Change
The company initiated a structured selection process to appoint an RTA with a significant market share. This decision was driven by the exponential growth in the number of BPCL shareholders in recent years. KFin Tech has been selected to provide enhanced RTA services to the company and its investors.
Transition Details
M/s Data Software Research Co. Pvt. Ltd. (“DSRC”) will continue to serve as BPCL’s RTA until the data transition, shifting of electronic connectivity, and other related procedures are completed. The effective date of the change will be communicated to the Stock Exchanges after definitive agreements are finalized.
