Bharat Forge (BFL) has formalized its participation in the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme. This was achieved through a Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on September 26, 2025, in Pune, along with BEML Limited and Data Patterns (India) Limited. The company released an intimation to the Exchanges on the same date about the signing.

Details of Participation

The MoU enables the three companies to collaborate on the AMCA programme and to participate in the Expression of Interest (Eol) initiative put forth by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA). While Bharat Forge confirms its involvement in the bidding process, the company clarifies that it is unaware of any other specific details related to the project, and nothing has been communicated to them by ADA or the Ministry of Defence.
