Bharat Electronics Limited Fiscal Year 2025-26 Turnover Hits Record Rs. 26,750 Crores

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has announced a record provisional turnover of Rs. 26,750 crore for the financial year 2025-26, marking a 16.2% growth compared to the previous year. The company’s performance was bolstered by robust export sales of USD 141.9 million and a healthy order book. Looking ahead, BEL remains focused on indigenous technological advancements and strategic initiatives to strengthen its presence in both domestic and global defense markets.

Financial Performance Highlights

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has achieved a significant milestone by reporting a record provisional and unaudited turnover of Rs. 26,750 crore for the financial year 2025-26. This reflects a commendable growth of 16.2% over the Rs. 23,024 crore recorded in the previous fiscal year. Export performance also showed strong momentum, reaching USD 141.9 million, representing a notable growth of 33.65% compared to the prior year.

Order Book and Strategic Wins

During the fiscal year, BEL secured new orders valued at Rs. 30,000 crore, inclusive of USD 346 million in export contracts. As of April 1, 2026, the company’s total order book stands at approximately Rs. 74,000 crore, with USD 495 million specifically attributed to exports. Key project wins in the defense sector include Avionics for LCA, Mountain Radars, EW suites for helicopters, and Air Defence Radars. Additionally, the company has secured significant non-defense contracts, including IT infrastructure for AIIMS and Automatic Train Supervision Systems.

Future Outlook and Indigenization

Commenting on the results, Shri Manoj Jain, Chairman & Managing Director, BEL, emphasized the company’s commitment to self-reliance. Amidst evolving geopolitical challenges, BEL is prioritizing indigenization and the reduction of import dependency. The company’s strategic roadmap focuses on integrating future-ready technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Advanced Electronic Warfare & Communication Systems, and Autonomous Platforms to maintain its competitive edge in the global defense ecosystem.
