Bank of India Election of Shareholder Director Update

The election of a shareholder director for Bank of India has been updated. With only one valid candidate, Shri Prabodh Parikh, nominated, he is deemed elected unopposed. Consequently, the election agenda will not be transacted at the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) scheduled for November 7, 2025. Shri Parikh will assume office from November 29, 2025, for three years.

Shareholder Director Election Update

Following the intimation dated October 6, 2025, and the notice dated October 10, 2025, regarding the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) for the election of a Director from among the shareholders of Bank of India, an update has been issued.

Unopposed Election

Shri Prabodh Parikh, the sole nominated candidate, has been found valid and “Fit and Proper” and is deemed to have been elected unopposed. His date of birth is June 30, 1963. He is 62 years old, holding a M.Com, MBA, and CAIIB. He brings banking sector experience to the board.

EGM Agenda Adjustment

As Shri Parikh has been elected unopposed, the agenda pertaining to the Election of Shareholder Director will not be addressed at the EGM on November 7, 2025. However, the EGM will proceed with other business items as detailed in the meeting notice of October 10, 2025.

Director’s Term

Shri Prabodh Parikh will assume his responsibilities from November 29, 2025, for a tenure of three years, lasting until November 28, 2028.
