Ashok Leyland Sales Surge 31% in January 2026

Ashok Leyland announced a strong sales performance for January 2026, with total vehicle sales in the domestic market up by 31% compared to January 2025. Total domestic vehicle sales reached 20,079 units. Including exports, total vehicle sales increased by 27%, reaching 21,920 units. The company witnessed growth in both M&HCV and LCV segments.

Domestic Sales Performance

In the domestic market, Ashok Leyland recorded a substantial increase in sales for January 2026. Total vehicle sales rose by 31%, with 20,079 units sold compared to 15,327 units in January 2025.

  • M&HCV Trucks: 11,359 units (up 45%)
  • M&HCV Bus: 1,474 units (down 27%)
  • Total M&HCV: 12,833 units (up 30%)
  • LCV: 7,246 units (up 33%)

Domestic + Export Sales

Including exports, Ashok Leyland’s total sales for January 2026 increased by 27%, with 21,920 units sold compared to 17,213 units in January 2025.

  • M&HCV Trucks: 11,800 units (up 43%)
  • M&HCV Bus: 2,420 units (down 22%)
  • Total M&HCV: 14,220 units (up 25%)
  • LCV: 7,700 units (up 32%)

The cumulative sales figures also reflect positive growth.

Domestic Cumulative:

  • Total Vehicles: 158,298 units (up 12%)
