Arvind Limited has officially strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Mr. Nigam Shah as Executive Director and Mr. Pritesh Shah as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective April 3, 2026. These strategic appointments are set to bolster the company’s financial governance and organizational agility as it pursues future-ready growth strategies across its diversified business segments.
Appointment of Executive Director
The company has appointed Mr. Nigam Shah as an Additional Director and Whole-time Director, designated as an Executive Director. His appointment is for a tenure of five years, effective from April 3, 2026, through April 2, 2031, subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Shah, who joined Arvind Limited as Chief Financial Officer in September 2023, will continue to play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, capital allocation, and the group’s Business-to-Government (B2G) initiatives.
Leadership Experience and Background
Mr. Nigam Shah brings over two decades of extensive experience across the infrastructure, manufacturing, and financial services sectors. A qualified Chartered Accountant, he previously served as Group CFO at Montecarlo Limited for nearly 15 years, where he gained significant expertise in scaling complex businesses and managing large-scale infrastructure projects. His leadership will continue to oversee critical functions including Finance, Accounts, Legal, and Investor Relations.
Strengthening Governance
In addition to the board-level changes, the company has appointed Mr. Pritesh Shah as the new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer. Mr. Pritesh Shah is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and holds over 15 years of professional experience. His background includes expertise in corporate governance, regulatory management, and strategic acquisitions, having previously served at reputed organizations such as the Adani Group and the Jubilant Bhartia Group. His appointment is effective immediately as of April 3, 2026.
