APL Apollo Tubes Ltd. confirmed on February 18, 2026, that it has secured a prestigious ranking in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) for 2025. The company achieved the 91st percentile in the global steel industry, demonstrating significant year-over-year progress, moving up from the 89th percentile in 2024 and 86th percentile in 2023. The company’s overall score improved to 59, up substantially from 49/40/29 recorded in the previous three years (2024/2023/2022).

The Chairman, Mr. Sanjay Gupta, stated that this continuous progress reflects the company’s dedication to responsible manufacturing and innovation. APL Apollo is intensifying its focus on reducing its carbon footprint, enhancing resource efficiency, and upholding ethical business practices across its entire value chain. Eco-Friendly Product Innovation

APL Apollo is pioneering sustainable construction by offering eco-friendly Tubular Structural Steel products as alternatives to RCC and wood, which offer benefits such as recyclability, zero dust, and no water consumption, leading to faster construction times. Furthermore, the development of ready-made steel products like Chaukhat, fencing, and head rails helps conserve an estimated 250,000 trees annually by replacing traditional wood usage in building applications.

The S&P Global CSA is an annual evaluation covering approximately 13,000 companies globally, benchmarking sustainability practices across economic, environmental, and social criteria.
