Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited has executed a Hotel Management and Licensing Agreement with Luxmi Tea Co. Private Limited. The agreement covers the operation and management of a proposed 100-room premium hotel under “The Park” brand in Siliguri, West Bengal. Located on the Chandmani Tea Estate, the project targets completion by March 2031, with the management contract spanning 20 years from the opening date.
Expansion into West Bengal’s Tea Estate
Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited (“the Company”) announced today the signing of a definitive Hotel Management and Licensing Agreement. This new commitment is with Luxmi Tea Co. Private Limited (“the Owner”), to manage and operate a proposed new premium hotel project.
The new property will be developed under the flagship brand, “The Park”. It is planned for development on approximately 3.25 acres situated within the Chandmani Tea Estate in Siliguri, West Bengal.
Project Specifications and Term
The proposed hotel will feature 100 rooms and will be complemented by comprehensive facilities, including food & beverage outlets, a banquet hall, a bar, and wellness amenities.
The targeted completion date for the construction of the hotel is set for March 2031. Following its opening, the management and licensing Agreement is contracted for a substantial term of 20 (twenty) years.
This strategic move marks the Company’s continued commitment to expanding its high-end hospitality footprint in key Indian locations.
