February 2026 Business Highlights Overview
Angel One has released its key business parameters for the month ending February 2026, showing significant long-term growth despite some month-over-month moderation in activity. The company noted that while market shares strengthened across core segments, broader market activity resulted in a moderation in the average daily order run rate and the client funding book.
Client Acquisition and Base Growth
The total Client Base expanded to 36.93 Million (Mn) in February 2026, marking a robust 20.8% growth compared to the same period last year (Feb ’25). However, Gross Client Acquisition in February was 0.57 Mn, representing a 22.9% sequential decline from January 2026 (0.74 Mn).
The Average Client Funding Book saw a slight sequential dip of 3.0% to ₹59.33 Billion (Bn) but showed substantial annual growth of 46.4% compared to February 2025 (₹40.53 Bn).
Turnover Metrics (ADTO)
Average Daily Turnover (ADTO) metrics showed mixed results:
- Overall Notional ADTO (Cash, Equity Futures & Commodity) declined 13.0% month-over-month to ₹55,743 Crores but surged 88.4% year-over-year.
- Equity Futures & Options (F&O) Notional ADTO decreased by 13.3% sequentially to ₹54,130 Crores.
- In Options Premium Turnover, Overall ADTO was nearly flat sequentially at ₹1,777 Crores but more than doubled year-over-year, growing by 113.5%.
Market Share Leadership Intensifies
Angel One reinforced its leadership position, achieving a lifetime high in its overall retail equity turnover market share:
- Overall Equity Turnover Market Share: Rose to 20.8% (up 72 bps YoY).
- F&O Turnover Market Share: Increased to 22.6% (up 112 bps YoY).
- Commodity Turnover Market Share: Showed exceptional sequential strength, jumping 856 basis points (bps) to settle at 57.0%, representing a 185 bps increase YoY.
Operational Activity
Trading volumes moderated sequentially. The Number of Orders (Mn) stood at 144.01 Mn, down 1.8% from January 2026. This contributed to a decrease in Average Daily Orders (Mn) to 6.86 Mn, down 6.5% sequentially.
Unique Mutual Fund SIPs Registered also saw a sequential drop of 22.9% to 670,120 (or 670.12 Thousand), although this remains 16.1% higher than February 2025.
