Expansion of Intellectual Property Portfolio
Affle has successfully secured two new patents in India, significantly strengthening the technology backbone of its conversion-driven CPCU model and its Al-powered consumer platform stack.
Patent 1: Advanced Podcast Interaction
The first granted patent focuses on a “Method and system for enabling an interaction of a user with one or more advertisements within a podcast.” This innovation utilizes multi-modal voice and gesture based inputs. The system analyzes podcast content, advertising data, and device signals to identify high-intent triggers, transforming passive audio exposure into an engaging, voice-and-gesture-oriented experience designed to drive conversions.
Patent 2: Anti-Fraud Technology Framework
The second patent covers a “Method and system to detect advertisement fraud.” This computer-implemented framework is designed for real-time identification, validation, and mitigation of fraudulent activities across the digital advertising ecosystem. The system employs proactive strategies, including the use of honeypots and non-human clickable items, to trap non-human engagements. Furthermore, it uses demographic and behavioral data analysis to distinguish genuine human interactions from intelligent bot-driven activity. By leveraging AI/ML, the system provides real-time notifications to advertisers and blocks fraudulent sources.
Current Patent Strength
With these additions, the company now possesses 18 unique patents granted out of a total IP portfolio comprising 39 unique patents. This robust portfolio includes approximately 300 enforceable patent claims as of the announcement date, highlighting the company’s commitment to developing innovative and future-proof technologies.
