Basis of the Demand

The demand order arises from the conclusion of audit proceedings. The dispute centers on various issues, including all-other ITC, ITC on import of goods, place of supply mismatches, outward liability declared in GSTR1, and ITC reversal on credit notes.

Company’s Response

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail maintains that there is no material impact on its financial or operational activities. The company intends to file an appeal against the order with the appropriate appellate authority, as it believes the demand is not tenable under the law.
