Adani Green Energy Reports 37% YoY Growth in Energy Sales for 9M FY26

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) reported a 37% YoY increase in energy sales during 9M FY26. The company’s operational capacity grew by 48% YoY to 17.2 GW. Greenfield addition of 5.6 GW in CY25 accounted for nearly 14% of India’s total solar and wind additions, solidifying AGEL’s position as a leading renewable energy player.

Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced its financial results, showcasing significant growth and operational achievements for the period ending December 31, 2025:

  • Energy Sales increased by 37% YoY.
  • Revenue Growth increased by 25% YoY to Rs. 8,508 crore.
  • EBITDA Growth increased by 24% YoY to Rs. 7,921 crore.
  • Achieved an industry-leading EBITDA margin of 91.5%.

Operational Milestones

AGEL has expanded its operational capacity to 17.2 GW, a 48% increase YoY. The company added 2,995 MW of greenfield capacity in 9M FY26, contributing to a total of 5,630 MW over the past year. Significant additions include:

  • 4,187 MW of solar capacity.
  • 462 MW of wind capacity.
  • 981 MW of solar-wind hybrid capacity, all located in Khavda.

Project Updates

The company’s Khavda project is underway, and is the world’s largest renewable energy installation, setting a global benchmark with a target of 30 GW of RE capacity by 2029.

Financial Performance (Standalone)

The standalone financial results include:

  • Revenue from operations: ₹3,636 crore.
  • Profit before tax: ₹82 crore.
  • Total comprehensive income: ₹82 crore.
