Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced the operationalization of an additional 510.1 MW of renewable power projects located at Khavda, Gujarat, through its subsidiaries. Following this commissioning, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has successfully increased to 17,982.3 MW. The power generation commenced on March 22, 2026, based on receiving all necessary regulatory clearances.
Major Expansion in Gujarat Operationalized
Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has officially operationalized an aggregate of 510.1 MW of power projects situated in Khavda, Gujarat. This expansion was executed through various stepdown subsidiaries of AGEL. The official decision to commence power generation was made late on March 22, 2026, at 10:58 p.m., subsequent to receiving all required clearances.
Total Renewable Capacity Milestone Reached
With the successful commissioning of these new assets, AGEL’s consolidated operational renewable generation capacity has reached a significant milestone of 17,982.3 MW. This substantial increase underscores the company’s accelerated deployment pace in the renewable energy sector.
Breakdown of Newly Commissioned Projects
The 510.1 MW capacity addition is spread across five specific Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), as detailed in the official annexure. The projects are a mix of Solar, Wind, and Hybrid technologies:
- Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Limited: 125 MW Solar and 16 MW Hybrid capacity.
- Adani Green Energy Twenty Four Limited: 150 MW Solar capacity.
- Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited: 2.6 MW Wind and 54 MW Hybrid capacity.
- Adani Solar Energy Jodhpur Six Limited: 25 MW Solar capacity.
- Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited: 137.5 MW Wind capacity.
The total capacity includes significant contributions from both Solar (300 MW) and Wind (140.1 MW) sources, complemented by Hybrid installations totaling 70 MW across the new deployments.
