Major Capacity Expansion Achieved
Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), through its wholly-owned stepdown subsidiaries, has successfully operationalized an aggregate of 951 MW of power projects. This milestone was achieved across two key locations: Baiya, Rajasthan (251 MW) and Khavda, Gujarat (700 MW). The decision to commence commercial operations was finalized at 9.58 p.m. on March 29, 2026, with power generation commencing on March 30, 2026.

With the commissioning of these new assets, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has seen a substantial increase, now standing at 18,933.3 MW. This latest capacity addition highlights the company’s aggressive expansion strategy within the renewable energy sector.
Breakdown of Newly Operationalized Capacity
The 951 MW capacity is spread across six Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) as detailed in the regulatory filing. The distribution includes a majority contribution from Solar projects:
- Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited (Solar): 300 MW
- Adani Solar Energy Barmer One Limited (Solar): 251 MW
- Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Limited (Solar): 225 MW
- Adani Green Energy Twenty Four Limited (Solar): 100 MW
- Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited (Solar): 50 MW
- Adani Solar Energy Jodhpur Six Limited (Hybrid): 25 MW
The total combined capacity from these six projects confirms the reported figure of 951 MW.
