Previously Vice President-Quality, Harjinder Kamboj’s reporting line now goes to Mr. Thiyagarajan. His role no longer qualifies as Senior Management Personnel. Leadership Change at ACME Solar
KR Thiyagarajan has been appointed as President – EPC at ACME Solar, effective December 10, 2025. He will be responsible for project execution, cost optimization, and technology integration across ACME Solar’s renewable energy projects. This appointment supports ACME Solar’s ambitious goal to reach 10 GW of operational contracted capacity by 2030.
Role Realignment
Alongside the appointment of Mr. Thiyagarajan, there has been a realignment of responsibilities. Harjinder Kamboj, previously Vice President-Quality, will now report to Mr. Thiyagarajan. Consequent to this change, Mr. Kamboj’s role no longer qualifies as Senior Management Personnel of the Company. The company says this restructuring will improve operational efficiency.
KR Thiyagarajan’s Background
Mr. Thiyagarajan brings over 35 years of experience in the power sector to ACME Solar. His expertise covers solar PV, BESS, EHV transmission, and distribution. He has a background in leading large-scale renewable energy projects, holding senior positions at Reliance Industries (New Energy), Tata Power Solar, Avaada Power, and Welspun Energy.
