ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its subsidiary, has signed two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) totaling 450 MW/1,800 MWh with SJVN for an Assured Peak Power Project. The 25-year PPAs will utilize night-time connectivity in Rajasthan to supply 4 hours of peak power daily. ACME Solar Secures Significant Peak Power PPAs

ACME Solar Holdings Limited announced on March 12, 2026, that its subsidiary, ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, has finalized two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with SJVN. The agreements cover a total capacity of 450 MW/1,800 MWh for an ‘ISTS Connected Assured Peak Power Project.’

The PPAs are structured for a long-term tenor of 25 years and were officially signed on March 2, 2026. The capacity stems from a tender (Tranche-FDRE-4) awarded after an e-reverse auction held on October 9, 2025, with the Letter of Award received on November 10, 2025.

Project Details and Power Supply Commitment

The projects will connect to the Indian String Transmission System (ISTS) substations. A key feature of the agreement is the utilization of ACME Solar’s established infrastructure in high irradiation zones in Rajasthan to provide 4 hours of assured peak power supply during non-solar hours. This supply commitment requires a 90% availability guarantee on both a monthly and annual basis.

Impact on Total Capacity

This recent signing marks a substantial addition to ACME Solar’s portfolio. Following these new agreements, the company has now signed 1,690 MW of PPAs during the current financial year. This achievement elevates the company’s total contracted PPA capacity to 6,270 MW.
