ACME Solar Holdings Commissions Fifth Phase of Battery Energy Storage System

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has successfully commissioned the fifth phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan. This latest expansion adds 33.334 MW/160.48 MWh to its portfolio. With this development, the company has now achieved a total commissioned capacity of 166.670 MW/802.460 MWh out of its total 300 MW/1409.34 MWh project goal, further strengthening its clean energy storage capabilities.

Project Milestone Achieved

ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Sun Power Private Limited, has reached a new operational milestone. On April 06, 2026, the company commissioned the fifth phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project located at Badi Sid, Phalodi and Jodhpur, Rajasthan. This expansion contributes an additional 33.334 MW of power and 160.48 MWh of storage capacity to the grid.

Capacity Expansion Details

The total project capacity is slated to reach 300 MW/1409.34 MWh upon full completion. Following this latest phase, the company has effectively brought 166.670 MW and 802.460 MWh of its storage infrastructure online. The Commercial Operation Date (COD) for this newly commissioned phase is scheduled for April 08, 2026, marking another step forward in the company’s commitment to enhancing renewable energy storage solutions in India.
