ACME Solar Holdings Ltd. has commissioned an additional 12 MW wind power project in Surendranagar, Gujarat, through its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd. This increases the project’s total operational capacity to 68 MW out of a total 100 MW planned. The project leverages in-house EPC capabilities and uses SANY’s wind turbines.
Gujarat Wind Project Expansion
ACME Solar Holdings Limited, via its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd, has successfully commissioned an additional 12 MW of wind power capacity. The project is located in Surendranagar, Gujarat.
Current Project Capacity
With this commissioning, the total operational capacity of the wind power project reaches 68 MW. The project aims for a total capacity of 100 MW. The remaining capacity will be commissioned in subsequent phases.
Project Financing and Technology
The ACME Eco Clean Energy wind power project is financed through the Power Finance Corporation (PFC). The project utilized SANY’s 4 MW turbines. The power generated will be sold through a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.
Additional Capacity and Renewable Portfolio
ACME Solar Holdings Limited has an operational capacity of 2,958 MW and a construction capacity of 4,562 MW which includes approximately 15 GWh of BESS installation. The company manages end-to-end development and O&M of its plants.
