ACME Solar Ayalur Kumar Appointed Chief Procurement Officer

Leadership Announcement

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd announced the appointment of Ayalur S Kumar as Chief Procurement Officer and Head of Supply Chain, effective December 17, 2025. This addition to the executive team is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to execute its expansion plans.

Executive Experience

Mr. Kumar brings approximately 30 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management across various sectors including renewable energy, EV infrastructure, biorefinery, and power. His expertise includes building procurement organizations, leading cross-cultural teams, and optimizing supply chains. He has held senior leadership roles for over 15 years.

Previous Roles

Prior to joining ACME Solar, Ayalur S Kumar held positions at Fortum, Skoda Power, ABB, and Alstom. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in International Business from IIFT, New Delhi.

ACME’s Renewable Portfolio

ACME Solar has a diversified portfolio spanning solar, wind, storage, FDRE, and hybrid solutions. The company has an operational capacity of 2,934 MW and a construction capacity of 4,586 MW, including approximately 15 GWh of BESS installation.
