ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned an additional 8 MW of its 100 MW wind power project in Gujarat. The project, executed through its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited, brings the total commissioned capacity to 52 MW. This phase was confirmed by Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL). The project enhances ACME Solar’s total operational capacity to 2,942 MW.
Gujarat Wind Project Expansion
ACME Solar Holdings, via its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd, has announced the commissioning of an additional 8 MW of its 100 MW wind power project. The project is located in Surendranagar, Gujarat. This follows the prior commissioning of 44 MW in previous phases.
Commissioning Details
The commissioning was officially witnessed and confirmed by officials from GEDA and PGVCL, and documented in the commissioning MOM. A formal certificate is anticipated to be issued soon. With this latest addition, the project’s operational capacity reaches 52 MW out of the total 100 MW being developed in phases.
Operational Capacity Milestone
The additional 8 MW of commissioned capacity boosts ACME Solar’s overall operational capacity to 2,942 MW. The announcement was made on December 16, 2025.
Project Financing and Technology
The wind power project received financing from Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and was constructed using in-house EPC expertise. The project utilizes SANY’s 4 MW wind turbines. Power generated will be sold under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with ACME Eco Clean and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.
