Jubilant Ingrevia Limited has announced its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report for FY 2025-26, highlighting significant achievements in environmental performance. The company surpassed its targets for reducing specific Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emission intensity to 1.49 tCO2e/MT, exceeding the goal of 1.51 tCO2e/MT. Water consumption was also lowered to 6.27 KL/MT, surpassing the target of 6.40 KL/MT. These improvements were driven by initiatives in energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, process optimization, and enhanced water recycling.

Jubilant Ingrevia Limited has disclosed strong environmental performance for the Financial Year 2025-26, exceeding key targets set for Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and water consumption. In its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report, the company highlighted that its specific Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emission intensity was reduced to 1.49 tCO2e/MT, surpassing the target of 1.51 tCO2e/MT. This achievement reflects ongoing efforts in decarbonization and sustainable operations.
Water Conservation Achievements
In terms of water management, Jubilant Ingrevia reported a reduction in specific water consumption to 6.27 KL/MT, which is below the set target of 6.40 KL/MT. These environmental successes were attributed to a strategic focus on energy efficiency initiatives, increased adoption of renewable energy sources, process optimization, effective waste heat recovery, and enhanced water recycling and conservation practices across its operations.
Commitment to Sustainability
The report also noted that the company’s climate action journey is progressing with Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) assessments for 33 products and a roadmap aimed at achieving a 40% reduction in Scope 1 emissions by FY 2029. Furthermore, Jubilant Ingrevia achieved its target of increasing women’s representation in its workforce to 7.2%, underscoring its commitment to diversity and inclusion. The company’s sustainability efforts have been recognized externally, including a score of 74/100 in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) 2025.
