Kajaria Ceramics: Approves Q1 FY27 Results, Expands Gailpur Facility

Kajaria Ceramics Limited has announced the approval of its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The Board also approved a significant expansion of its manufacturing facility at Gailpur, Rajasthan, aiming to increase the annual production capacity by 11 Million Square Metres (MSM) of tiles. The company also approved an investment of up to ₹12.15 crore in equity shares of Sunsure Solarpark for captive power consumption.

Kajaria Ceramics Reports Q1 FY27 Results and Facility Expansion

Kajaria Ceramics Limited has disclosed key financial and strategic updates following its Board of Directors meeting held on July 31, 2026. The Board has officially approved the unaudited financial results, both standalone and consolidated, for the quarter that concluded on June 30, 2026. These results, along with the Limited Review Reports from the Statutory Auditors, have been submitted.

Manufacturing Capacity Enhancement at Gailpur

A significant development reported is the approval for the expansion of the manufacturing facility located in Gailpur, Rajasthan. This expansion initiative is designed to boost the company’s annual production capacity by an additional 11 Million Square Metres (MSM) of tiles. The project is estimated to require an investment of Rs. 165 Crores and is expected to be completed by April 2027. This move is strategically aimed at meeting the growing demand for glazed vitrified tiles.

Investment in Renewable Energy for Captive Consumption

In a move towards sustainable energy and cost optimization, Kajaria Ceramics has approved an investment of up to Rs. 12.15 crores in equity shares of Sunsure Solarpark Fourty Three Private Limited. This investment is earmarked for solar and wind power for captive consumption, as mandated by the Electricity Act. The company anticipates this will help reduce power costs at its Gailpur and Malootana plants in Rajasthan, aligning with cost-effective and environmentally friendly practices.
