The company reported a record ₹1,496 crore in quarterly disbursements, a 23% increase sequentially. Assets Under Management (AUM) grew by 4% to ₹13,722 crore, demonstrating a robust growth trajectory. Collections remained strong with 97.9% efficiency, and asset quality metrics showed improvement.

Record Quarterly Performance

Five-Star Business Finance Limited has announced its financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027, ending June 30, 2026. The quarter was marked by significant achievements, including a record ₹1,496 crore in disbursements, representing a 23% growth over the previous quarter and a 16% growth year-on-year. This performance underscores the company’s strong momentum in the market.

Asset Growth and Collections

The Assets Under Management (AUM) for the company stood at ₹13,722 crore at the end of the quarter, reflecting a healthy 4% sequential growth. This growth trajectory indicates Five-Star’s consistent progress in expanding its balance sheet. Collections continued to be robust, with a unique customer collection efficiency of 97.9% for the quarter, slightly down from 98.1% in the prior quarter, but with x-bucket collections at 99.2%.

Asset Quality Improvement

Asset quality metrics showed further improvement. The current book stood at 83.30%, up from 82.69% in the previous quarter. The 30-plus book reduced to 12.38% from 12.69%. Slippages remained flat at 0.70%, and the credit cost sequentially dropped to 1.85% from 1.88% in Q4 FY26. The all-inclusive cost of funds was reported at 8.33%, leading to a cost of fund on the book reduction to 8.80% from 8.95%.

Profitability and Net Worth

Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter was reported at ₹271 crore. The company’s net worth as of June 30, 2026, stood at ₹7,653 crore. Management expressed confidence in achieving full-year growth guidance comfortably.

Operational Highlights

The company also added 12 branches during the quarter, expanding its network to 856 branches. Furthermore, Five-Star crossed a significant milestone of 500,000 active loan customers as of June 30, 2026.
