Operating revenues for the quarter stood at INR 629 crore, marking a significant 14.3% year-on-year growth in rupee terms. In constant currency, revenues grew 2.6% sequentially and 6.7% year-on-year.

The company maintained a healthy EBITDA margin of 21.7% while continuing to invest in AI capabilities, enterprise platforms, and talent. Total income for the quarter was approximately INR 652 crore, a 4.9% sequential and 12.5% year-over-year increase. Profitability was supported by disciplined management and strategic investments.

Joseph Anantharaju, Co-Chairman and CEO, emphasized that FY27 has started on a strong note, driven by customer trust and the growing relevance of the company’s capabilities as enterprises accelerate investments in AI-led transformation, digital engineering, cybersecurity, and automation. The company’s AI-first strategy, broad digital capabilities, and disciplined execution in an evolving market environment are key contributors to this performance.
Sridhar Mantha, CEO of Generative AI Business Services, elaborated on the Al strategy, focusing on building a secure and reusable enterprise AI platform, embedding AI across the software development lifecycle, and delivering measurable productivity improvements for customers. The company highlighted its AI portfolio, including over 100 AI agents and 60 repeatable use cases.
Market and Industry Performance
The demand environment, while mixed, shows increasing enterprise technology investments shifting towards AI-led transformation, data modernization, cloud, and cybersecurity. Healthcare & Life Sciences emerged as the fastest-growing vertical, with a 22% year-on-year increase. BFSI remains the largest vertical at 27% of revenues. Geographically, the Americas continue to be the largest market, contributing 57% of revenues.
Outlook and Guidance
Looking ahead, Happiest Minds remains confident in its strategy, supported by a healthy pipeline and accelerating AI adoption. The company reaffirmed its FY27 revenue guidance of at least 12.5% year-on-year growth. The company also maintains its aspiration for 15% growth in FY28.
