PVR INOX Limited, India’s largest cinema exhibitor, announced today the opening of its latest multiplex at Mall 11, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. This new three-screen premium cinema is equipped with advanced projection and sound systems, including 2K projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound, and Next Generation 3D technology. The facility offers guests 659 luxury recliner seats, aiming to provide a premium movie-watching experience.
Strengthening Tier II Market Presence
This launch is a strategic move by PVR INOX to reinforce its presence in India’s fast-growing Tier II markets. Jabalpur, identified as a rapidly developing urban centre in Central India, represents a key growth opportunity. The new multiplex, developed in partnership with Satya Prakash Group, spans approximately 19,430 sq. ft. and is located in the Madan Mahal area, a prominent commercial hub.
National Network Expansion
With the addition of this new property, PVR INOX Limited now operates a total of 1782 screens across 355 properties in 113 cities, including India and Sri Lanka. This expansion underscores the company’s commitment to bringing world-class entertainment infrastructure to emerging cities and enhancing its comprehensive network. The cinema opened with the release of Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
