Mankind Pharma: Q1 FY27 Revenue Up 13%, EBITDA Margins Improve

The company also saw significant improvement in profitability, with EBITDA margins rising by 250 basis points to 26.3% and PAT margins expanding by 170 bps to 14.2%. Domestic business, excluding consumer healthcare, grew by 11.0%, driven by strong performance in chronic and specialty segments.

Mankind Pharma Announces Strong Q1 FY27 Results

Mankind Pharma has announced its financial results for the first quarter of the financial year 2027, ending on June 30, 2026. The company reported a healthy top-line growth, with Revenue from Operations reaching ₹4,031 crore, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%.

Profitability Enhancements

The company demonstrated significant improvement in its profitability metrics. EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹1,060 crore, with EBITDA margins expanding by 250 basis points to 26.3%. Profit After Tax (PAT) grew by 29.1% year-on-year to ₹574 crore, resulting in a PAT margin of 14.2%, up 170 basis points.

Segmental Performance Highlights

Domestic Business (Ex-CH) Drives Growth

The domestic business, excluding the Consumer Healthcare segment, registered a growth of 11.0%. This growth was attributed to double-digit expansion in the Mankind domestic business, with a 15.8% increase in the chronic segment. Key therapeutic areas like Cardiac (19.4% growth) and Anti-Diabetes (12.7% growth) performed strongly. The company also noted outperformance in Gastro, VMN, and Gynaecology, aiding recovery in the acute segment.

Consumer Healthcare and Exports

The Consumer Healthcare (CH) segment saw a growth of 3.9%, reaching ₹246 crore. Exports Business recorded a significant increase of 29.0%, contributing ₹605 crore to the revenue.

Key Financial Metrics

Capital efficiency remains strong, with ROCE at 13% and Adjusted ROCE at 43%. Net Debt to Adj. EBITDA stood at a healthy 0.9x. The company also highlighted its disciplined execution and strengthening business fundamentals, setting the stage for long-term sustainable growth.
