Suzlon Energy Limited announced today, July 23, 2026, that it has secured a new order for 201.6 MW of wind power capacity from Waaree Group. This significant order is for Waaree’s maiden wind project and will be executed in Andhra Pradesh, India. The deal highlights Suzlon’s continued success with its Development Cum Construction (DevCo) model, which is gaining traction in the industry for its ability to facilitate faster execution and de-risk projects.
Project Details and Turbine Supply
Under the terms of the agreement, Suzlon will supply 64 units of its high-performing S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs). Each WTG has a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. The scope of Suzlon’s engagement encompasses a comprehensive Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) offering. This includes critical services such as land acquisition, turbine supply, Balance of Plant (BoP) development, project commissioning, and comprehensive life-time operations and maintenance (O&M) services.
